Only recently a friend of mine down there was kidnapped and held for $400,000 ransom. The soldiers (our benifactors) found them and rescued the hostage, killing the 3 cartel members that were holding him. Perhaps in a gunfight, or perhaps something else. In my opinion terrorists like this should be executed on the spot, not sent to a prison for a reunion with their friends and wait for a dishonest guard to allow them to escape. My wife says I got a big mouth and will get myself in a lot of trouble someday. Guess that's so. Whats your opinion?

Re: Chester’s eBook Addendum No. 1: Rear Shock Mounts

Hi.
YOU GIVE ME MOUNTING TEMPLATE FOR GM steering box,

please

thanks

Re: A different Kind of Bucket: Steve Scott’s Uncertain-T

Loved the model of this car as a kid, always wanted one, but never had one, Sure wish Monogram would re-release it...

Re: Important update on Chester Greenhalgh, T-Bucket eBook author

Thanks Dave, you're 100% right. In 1965 after serving 3 years in the Vietnam war I applied for citizenship in Australia, only to find out in the paperwork that upon arrival I was subject to draft in the Australian army. That stopped me otherwise I might be among my friends in Adelaide, Australia and God only knows what I would have wrote about!.......Chester

Re: Important update on Chester Greenhalgh, T-Bucket eBook author

Great to hear guys - Stay safe that's the main thing think of your kids - :)
Dave - Adelaide Australia

Re: Important update on Chester Greenhalgh, T-Bucket eBook author

Thanks everyone for your positive thoughts for Chester in this situation. I wanted to let you know that he has returned safely. Here's what he had to say:

"Well we made it back in one piece. It is much more peacful down
there with the new police force in charge. We're going to stay in
(the U.S.) to help with the grandkids for a while longer. There is a group
of robbers there targeting unoccupied houses. If we get hit again
after all my work on the house we'll have to return and stay there. I
welded diamond plate over the windows and doors and installed stronger
double locks. I also welded all the doors shut except the front
door.Perhaps they'll pick an easier target next time."

Re: Important update on Chester Greenhalgh, T-Bucket eBook author

Hi Chester, wishing you all the safety possible, sorry to hear about what it going on in your life it's hard to imagine losing all my tools etc it would be enough to kill for. Wow . Whoever built this car did a great job. I wished I had gotten a chance to talk with the owner to ask about its cost to build. It had a beautiful top, full hood and a deuce grill shell. One thing though, I wish the car was maybe a foot longer. This has got to be the best bucket out there. Nice job.

Re: A different Kind of Bucket: Steve Scott’s Uncertain-T

Still looking for some nice images of John SOUZAS T,if any one has feb 62 R/C a scan on the test would be good...RODNEY

Re: Pip Biddlecombe’s “Low Blow” T-Bucket

Hi,
Does anybody know the whereabouts of a one off belch beer truck which was stolen from 59 taunton lane, old coulsdon in approx. 2009. The panels and seat are not hard to make and you can do a pretty decent interior at a fraction of the cost if you take your time and think it through. Sid Chavers sells some really great instructional videos on how to build an interior. I purchased his tapes years ago ( when they were in VHS form) and watched them many times and then bought a cheap upholstery machine and practiced a lot. I am no where near his quality of work, but what I do looks decent and can be done very inexpensively. Most of the interiors I do are basic 2 inch tuck and rolls with a smooth roll across the top - typical old school stile, and l can do a tbucket or roadster for under $150.00 and that is for the foam and naughahyde. Don't be afraid to try it. It is really fun and the learning curve is fascinating.
