I think the body will look good without making it a clone. The body has good curves that make whatever u put it on look good. The one I have has been on an altered dragster and a semi clone.

Re: News Release: 25th Anniversary Edition “How to Build a T-Bucket Hot Rod….”

I don't believe it and i have proof why not

Re: 1927 T-Bucket Roadster Project: Part 14

I've enjoyed this post, looking forward to more on this '27.

Re: The Famous California Custom Roadster, CCR, T-Bucket Frame Plans

CCR was used to build this T in 1976 I have seen pics on internet from 2010

Re: The Famous California Custom Roadster, CCR, T-Bucket Frame Plans

this is the ultimate kit simple and easy

Re: NEHR Speedcraft’s T-Bucket “Hot Rod in a Box” Kit, Part 2

what dous the hot rod in a box cost bouth the t buket and your 1927 T I wont sothing that is fun to drive and that I can fit in Im 6 feet tall and 330 lbs. can I get one that is streched out to make more room for my feet and lages? The panels and seat are not hard to make and you can do a pretty decent interior at a fraction of the cost if you take your time and think it through. Sid Chavers sells some really great instructional videos on how to build an interior. I purchased his tapes years ago ( when they were in VHS form) and watched them many times and then bought a cheap upholstery machine and practiced a lot. I am no where near his quality of work, but what I do looks decent and can be done very inexpensively. Most of the interiors I do are basic 2 inch tuck and rolls with a smooth roll across the top - typical old school stile, and l can do a tbucket or roadster for under $150.00 and that is for the foam and naughahyde. Don't be afraid to try it. It is really fun and the learning curve is fascinating. The car is 20 year's old now and still runs like a new project. I always tell people where I got the car and it's good to know that you are still around. You build a great product.

One that sticks out at me is the body and the bed lines. Looking at the side view, you've got at least three diferent lines; the frame, the body and the bed all have different lines. I like the body to have some rake, but this one is a little steep. I think it would look better if the bucket had the same amount of rake as the frame and the bed had the same as the bucket. Another important line in my opinion, is the headers. I think it would look better if they were parellel to the ground, although I know that thats something that's not easily changed.
Just my 2 cents worth,
I haven't begun construction yet, but am gathering parts for a '27 project. These articles are very helpfull and thought provoking.
Thanks,
Bill

Re: “Turn of the Century” Fiberglass T-Bucket Body Bargains

i wrote the article on nicks t bucket, i am his son dominic, i was very happy to see the pic on this website, nick passed away just after completing the lo buck bucket, if anyone has any questions on the car feel free to e mail me contivehicledynamics@gmail.com

Re: Creating a computer-generated 3D T-Bucket hot rod

Hey John, Laurens here. The bungs were not shown in the dvd because I did not use old style / original wish bones. In the dvd, I made all of the radius rods and wish bones and hence did not show how to make the bungs. This is a new car I am building for myself and I am trying to build it pretty much old school , except with newer and better techniques and parts. No more tie rod sleeves welded into pipe or cut wishbones. Thanks for your comments and questions.
